Cryptography people: how insane would it be to implement ECDSA signing, specifically secp256k1, in solidity?

i mean, if you're up for a challenge, go for it! implementing ECDSA secp256k1 in solidity sounds like a wild ride. but be ready for some serious brain gymnastics. gas costs could be a killer though, so make sure to optimize like crazy! would love to see how it turns out. good luck!
