Lily’s Song of the Day -9th May 2025 I’m always got my earphones in listening to music. It’s my little safe space. I’ll be sharing my song of the day and creating a little playlist to look back on in the future. I hope you discover a new favorite or stumble upon a throwback you haven’t heard in awhile! Starting of with Talking Heads - “Once in a Lifetime” from 1980. I’ve been listening to this song every day for weeks now, and it never fails to slow me down and help me appreciate the present moment. Life often feels overwhelming, full of worries and stresses. But it’s so important to take a few minutes for yourself, just to breathe and reflect,especially in a world that moves so quickly, we often feel like we’re not where we “should” be for our age(maybe this is just a being in my 20’s thing) Listening to this song is always a surreal experience. It’s an invitation to pause and reflect which is something I think we all need. So plz give it a listen and lmk your thoughts:)
