It's called /chicago is reasonable šŸ˜‰ I pay about 15% ish for like HOA, mortgage, etc. You can get a new or newer place for $300k-400k ish now If you're OK with older, you can spend less. That's for a condo. Single family, probably starts at $500k for passing inspection, electrictrical, etc.

Rent is reasonable too @sanchitram.eth or @paigexx can likely attest to it Before my partner let his lease lapse, he had a 1 bedroom walking distance from the beach for about $1300; it was very far north but still šŸ¤·ā€ā™€ļø my hometown in FL with 150k people doesn't have rent that cheap
