Makes a great cup of coffee for a batch brewer. Some hardware and software issues knock a couple points off. Probably not for someone who’s looking for a pourover machine

Yeah the software is shakey At one point it get resetting and I needed to unplug and plug back in that was infuriating

but how is the happy path experience? is it straightforward enough to prep the morning's first cup before bed

I don’t prep before bed because I wanna grind right before brewing. But I usually make the same brew every time only once a week do I shake it up. Usually we brew a pot of 3-4 “cups” which is really just two mugs; then single serve after that as needed basis.
