The Aviary is INSANE what an experience! But I'm not used to drinking that much 😵‍💫😵 we did the drinks prix fixe

In Logan - Wicker area (except for my bougie recommendation at the end)

1. Scofflaw $$ - they give free cookies at midnight 
2. Best intentions $$ - good drinks + people love their burgers
3. Meadowlark $$ - 💚 menu bird inspired
4. The up room $$$ for the view

5. The aviary $$$$ - crazy imaginative drinks

Is it just light bites and wine? Or do they have options for non-sommeliers?

Volo in Roscoe Village for wine.

Price point: it ain't cheap

Why: Great wine, great food, great outdoor space (even in the winter)

Good for any occasion!

All are pretty much $-$$. Perfect spots for Chicago handshakes

Jimmy's in Hyde Park.

I have no idea if it's still there, and only the locals call it Jimmy's. But their burgers and fries stayed the same price for like 2 decades, because they refused to change the price board.
