The Optimism Level 2 Ethereum network team distributed 10.3 million OP tokens (~$16 million) to 54,700 unique addresses during the fifth airdrop.

This coin distribution aims to reward users of Superchain, an ecosystem of rollups built on the OP Stack infrastructure. 

Activity on OP Mainnet, Base, Zora, Mode, Metal, Fraxtal, Cyber, Mint, Swan, Redstone, Lisk, Derive, BOB, Xterio, Polynomial, Race and Orderly was taken into account. 

Airdrop participants were wallets that interacted with at least 20 smart contracts in Superchain between March 15 and September 15, 2024.

Individual distributions to users were boosted by bonuses. They were awarded for actions like delegating OP or using the seven protocols in the ecosystem.

The coins must be claimed by February 13, 2025.
