crypto is inherently financial. it attracts financial minds first. financial minds live and die by incentives. 

if you incentivize farmers, you’re gonna get farmers. if you incentivize for qDAU, you’re gonna get qDAU. 

crypto users are not too different than locusts. 

without proper incentives, your product will get exploited; all value will be extracted until there’s nothing left and your user base will churn. 

incentivize users to be additive to your system, or unleash the locust swarm.
