Is it illegal to give away money to followers?

What if I said I would give 1 ETH to a randomly chosen follower this Friday? 

Screw it, let's do it. I'm gonna give someone 1 ETH on Friday.

I'm trying myself as a trader for a few months already, so I'll definitely split 70% between $bnkr / $tn100x / $clanker (maybe a few more big plays on base) 20% to $HYPE and 10% for degen plays (yeah I'm also a gambler still trying to catch my luck, lol)
