important framing for next 2 months >fc daus are (still) churning, not growing — as such, any new coin coming out of the fc eco is insanely pvp with probably less than 200 bootstrapped players; expect high top 10 holder concentration & og cabals working against you on every rip >no other pump.fun clones have been able to successfully sustain volume — so unless you’re dialed & running stops, anything outside of scalping the initial pop will likely cost you, as without any new liquidity, it is you that becomes the exit >base is positioned as the “builder network” — so while base is growing, the vast majority of its users are in ETH or USDC & are not necessarily here to trade shitcoins with you >base is best for swing trades where momentum or catalyst-driven is the play — go to solana if you want a daily casino >99% of ai coins will go the way of pump tokens — everyone will have their own, but none will do anything outside of dumping on you >ogs tend to win >conviction > diversification

good points basil I just messed around on pump this week for the first time to get a feel for it ... at some point, you are right, the cables get cut and the tokens go off a cliff

I’m not cool and dialed into trends to be good at it. I’ve always been the outsider who observes - which is good in other contexts :)

well from my viewpoint, there are patterns that repeat in these types of markets. it is insanely difficult, and only just beginning, but in many ways it is better to focus on building (or accumulating) the things you are confident will be at the top of the pile in the mid to long term. trading trends is tough and takes tons of energy and focus (+ the ability to absorb losses or miss pumps)
