just got the fastest no (literally less than an hour) from a game fund & major influence of ours, who has been our #1 target for the last 18 months & who told us last year to come back with a build, which we did

they passed without even opening any of the materials & specifically noted in their email that they won’t be telling us why, so don’t bother asking

Biggest rejections in my life ended up being:
1. A redirection to something better
2. Finding out those I was rejected by weren’t my people
