Truly understanding something takes a lot of time, and often leads to more questions than answers. Often, I’ll see successful people confidently assert claims about many topics and think, “how did they have the time?” Starting to think they’re just bullshitting.

I do this a lot too. I’ll confidently riff about topics I’ve only lightly grazed, and people will believe me. I’m trying to be better at clarifying my well-researched opinions versus just a strong feeling.
