Eigen Layer is a decentralized Ethereum protocol that enables restaking. Restaking put simply, allows already staked $ETH to help secure other networks aside from just Ethereum, while also giving stakers an additional yield atop their $ETH staking rewards.

I would argue that to a degree, Bitcoin is the first “meme” coin, in the sense of community value and ideological support. It is a piece of deflationary coding emulating a currency, built upon core principles of decentralization, transparency, technological innovation, scarcity & scalability.

They are collectives of people vibing and enjoying a common interest together. More than anything, it’s a sign of shaken faith in tradfi. People would rather support each other!
