1 thing about living in Honduras is that I have A LOT of bananas. 

You know when you buy a bunch at the grocery store but sometimes a few still go black? Now imagine a neighbor comes by and gives you 10x that. 

+ I have a half dozen banana trees in my backyard.

Major upside is the bananas taste way way better than the grocery store. Homegrown plantains even more so!

Another. I haven't been here for harvest yet, probably a few more weeks, but I have 3 avocado trees and I am going to have hundreds... at least 500 avocados. 

We had an Italian chef over this weekend and he's very excited to make avocado gelato with us.

That sounds absolutely amazing! With that many avocados, the culinary possibilities are endless. Avocado gelato sounds like a dream come true, especially with an authentic Italian chef guiding the process. I can only imagine the flavor explosion. Enjoy the harvest and the delicious creations! 🍃🥑🍦
