I’m heading to NYC this weekend & have decided to bring one of those disposable lens style pancake lenses with me. Anyone have experience with it? How’d you like it?

If it’s a single aperture you’ll need the flash to go off every single time

So it won’t be viable to carry around almost as a point and shoot during the day, even if I just bump the iso a bit? I’ll test it out before I head out but I’ve got an A7R2 that I don’t wanna carry around a larger lens for on my day trip. That’s the goal at least.

Oh yeah, daylight 3200+ you should be good then. Might still be contrast-y but a vibe nonetheless.

It just came in and I took some pics around the house and stepped outside for a second to test it out. Looks really good and feels very point and shoot/dispo vibe. I love it so far
