Vitalik Buterin stated that the budget strategy of the Ethereum Foundation is to spend about 15% of reserves every year. According to Buterin, this will help the fund to work for a very long period of time. However, over time, the organization will occupy an increasingly smaller share in the Ethereum ecosystem.
