This weekend is wild. There is a Gaza ceasefire but not really because Netanyahu promises to continue genocide even though the signed deal says otherwise. There is a TikTok ban but not really because Trump says he'll sign an executive order to save it. Trump launches a memecoin but not really because he owns 80% of the supply. All techbros (including TikTok CEO) are licking Trump's boots for inauguration.

Yea I think that's it. But it's all about the culture, TikTok culture has been an absolute banger and TikTok algo did a great job in building big booktok, movietok, music, comic book, etc communities. Honestly TikTok has felt like early days of internet for this ~40yo guy.

I saw some creators celebrating while others saying they feel uncertain and they've started migrating to YT shorts (everyone hates Insta), but users hate YT too so not sure what's gonna happen.
