Why do militaries or soldiers follow what dictators say? For example, what is happening in Venezuela. I’m sure the soldiers have families who are ready for a change as well. Is it as simple as “obedience”?

Why would they do coup when there's a clear winner in the election? Opposition has zero fraud proof, they had observers at every ballot, and they're simply crying foul because the result is different from what they wanted.
