How many Michelin stars of on-chainedness are we giving to works with on-chain data and rendering stored on an L2 that is using L1 for DA?

How can the data be stored in L2 but DA would be in L1?

Thinking of cases like optimism where it gets compressed and posted to mainnet as calldata

Does the stored data get posted on L1 calldata? If that's the case they'd score one star since calldata is considered one star.

Ultimately yea, compressed data representing state changes on the L2 get posted as calldata to mainnet so that it could be used to reconstruct the state of the L2 if necessary.
