I voted independent in 2016. I probably would've voted independent if there was a platform for it during the pandemic. If there wasn't a madman that the right was championing, I may have this year. Voting Kamala is like voting independent in 2016. She's a dem only in name imo and wanting to work across the isle but keeping Trump out of office is also too important to vote anything other than democrat this time around.

How is voting Harris akin to voting independent? Harris is a career politician, part of the establishment and reeks in Super-PAC donations. Indies tend to go for individual donors, their entire campaign strategy, stances on issues, future vision, all are different.

She has a similar stance to Gary Johnson in 2016. She is much more moderate than recent democrats and has a willingness to be bipartisan. I don't see the downside unless you're a single-issue voter.
