Coinbase made an NFT marketplace last cycle that had them competing in the meta. (It’s now integrated into core product bc nfts were tulips).

Coinbase should make a memecoin trading platform to compete this cycle. A simplified version of Coinbase Wallet that’s just for degens and shows the power of Base. Include Solana, and tokens like $DEGEN that bridge both. This would probably be a product of this cycle and die but they’d be able to 

a) leverage their on-ramp to get people on Base
b) get retail-side data on degen behaviors 
c) make some of that sweet degen moola
d) compete with the meta / marketing splash

idk time to build an mvp of this with the right people is probably 2 weeks. seems like a no brainer.

This is a good idea. 

Vertically integrate onramp + smart wallet (with Solana support) + swap and send. 

Allow for much larger initial buys because of the anti-fraud moat
