Men: for both my kids, at around 1 year old, I got/am depressed and dark. 
  I can't say why in particular because I'm happy with my family and where we are in life. There's lots of love and play and joy in our house.
  Things are, mostly, pretty good and I'm grateful for what we have. Not to say we don't have issues to work through, but those are good to have!
  Last time it was the most depressed I had ever been. This time not as bad, but it's still undeniably there.

I know it's going to pass and there's no safety risk. I'm just curious if any other men experience this, how common it is, and to let anyone who might be struggling know: we got this. It's hard, but we just gotta fight for our family despite the challenges. 💪
