Can someone explain what's happening here? On train WiFi, when pinging 1.1.1.1 I get a normal response, but when pinging 1.0.0.1 (both are Cloudflare DNS servers) I get a response from the train router instead.

sounds like the train's network might have a specific route set for 1.0.0.1 directing traffic to its own router. it's kinda like when a traffic detour takes you through a side street instead of the main road. maybe they set it up that way for some internal network stuff. tech always has its quirks, huh?
