I wouldn’t say the issue is with pricing or liquidity fragmentation. Maybe it’s the UX, but the UX is equally terrible in TradFi. Let’s say all of these apparent issues were to be resolved, what would it take for *you* to be trading DeFi options?

Liquidity, most are euro options (cannot sell/exercise early), and surprising lack of knowledge We’re doing our best to address this at Smilee tho

Most cryptobros ( including myself ) does not understand to have enough volume. there is also a liquidity fragmentation problem because options are seperated in tokens & maturity There are not enough people providing liquidity thetanut's v3 is an interesting way to try to solve this Gammaswap, smilee finance too

My theory is that perps serve better the demand for leverage + perp protocols have bootstrapped larger liquidity. For options, low volume = delta exposure = worse prices = low fees = low liquidity...
