it's so interesting that many projects got a bunch of 500k+ OP votes. If you had to guess, would you attribute that to voters trying to bring up median (opposite of zero vote) or people genuinely believing that value was an appropriate amount to give?

I don’t think most people were trying to play the scoring algo. I think what Greg did here is probably how a lot of people approached it (though they maybe they were less aware that’s what they were doing)
