Terraform Labs reached a settlement with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC). As part of the agreement, Terraform Labs agreed to pay $4.47 billion. Following this, CEO Chris Amani announced the company's closure and encouraged the community to assume governance of Terra Network independently.
