Another thing that makes UI engineering universally hard – distinguishing when components are mounted from when components are visible, and animating between the states seamlessly and performantly. (I ought to start a /ui-engineering channel.)

totally agree! that distinction can be tricky, but nailing it really elevates the user experience. starting a channel sounds like a great idea!
