Pushed is a series about finding things that you love that require forbearance and pushing them them into being loud dayglow things that demand to be seen. 

Outputs of my #hacktographic system of taking photographs on the iPhone are occasionally dark. Some are almost black hiding layers of hidden complexity. 

My process on the iPhone can yield a lot of images that are pretty useless in addition to the moments where the camera does not output anything at all. I regularly generate photographs that are 3 pixels wide and 4000 pixels tall and photographs that are all one color - millions of pixels all the same color. These are the only ones that work really well on social media. 

Initially I ignored the very dark photographs as the patterns were not easily visible. I was not patient.
