72 hours in nyc: farcon, baseball game, food tour and cocktail adventure with @underdog (megathread 2/2) 🧵

@underdog surprised me with the great idea of attending a yankees game (we've both been fans since we were kids) and we let chat gpt navigate us there via subway

tickets were $13 and they lost but we still had a great time wandering the concourse and only sitting in our seats for 2 innings

then we went to harlem (had never been!) to eat some italian food and had the most amazing service, immaculate vibes, octopus salad and truffle gnocchi. chefs kiss fr.

from there we worked our way back downtown and stopped in a cute place that he knew i'd like because croquetas. he was right.

after that-- A FEVERDREAM. the nintendo store!!!!! i bought some socks but paid extra to get both a mario shopping bag AND a link shopping bag. best 75 cent souvenir a girl could ask for. then a quick stop by the SNL studios!

after a brief reset we headed to the final boss of the weekend: a bitters bar on the lower east side that did NOT disappoint. we could've spent hours and hundreds of dollars in amor y amargo. i think they liked us too because they gave us pins that said "i <3 bitters" and we didn't see anyone else get a pin. an award.

after heading home we got some chinese food at "the best sichuan" and it was the best noodle soup, also open very late!

then on sunday we woke up got coffee & some ny bagels, stopped to see some family and drove home. thanks farcon for giving us a great excuse to have an epic weekend ILY.
