Anti-memes are things that actively don’t want to be spread (ie passwords, dirty secrets) and in this world there are big bad entities out there, of course most people don’t know this because they literally eat your memories and even if you’ve come face to face with them you would never know, unless you have access to mnetic drugs that can dampen there effects. But they don’t always last and have some pretty real side effects. So the War is raging even though the people fighting it for years sometimes have no idea what they’re fighting or even that they work for the Antimemetics Division. Really interesting and written in a way that is fun and interesting. Enjoying it a lot actually. I wanted to make a joke about reading it but have no idea what it’s about but realize the joke wouldn’t work yet haha
