ok the funniest thing here is "Researched Wireless Networks" which was an actual real thing back then as it still wasn't obvious wifi and bluetooth were going to crush everything else but specifically around low power devices, sensors, etc and things like zigbee and even research implementations around mesh networking was all in its infancy.

holy shit. i started out in SCADA. programmed PLCs, built serial comms networks with MODBUS, even played with Zigbee and all sorts of instrumentation. then went into EMS and commissioned tonnes of distributed systems for metering and tenant billing in high rises and university campuses. had no idea our backgrounds were this similar. although i took electrotechnology route, not compsci. thanks for sharing king
