Realized that improving your cognitive function/intelligence (and also your t*ste) both require consistently consuming new input sources. Even if you have really well curated inputs, if they stay the same then it plateaus in your brain and you don’t get exposed to new ideas that stretch it in the way that enhances your thinking

Les nails it here though importantly the stream has nothing to do with Virgil, he was just one of the best to tap into it. The Stream is all the inform coming at you and you need to filter and synthesize and sometimes subconsciously file it for later. Some people go this route of digital detox or cutting themselves off from the stream but I like to lean in and grab it with two hands. TLDR to the TLDR; is your original cast. Creativity requires inputs. Lots and lots of diverse inputs.
