im not a visual artist, but as a writer the craze of making gen ai impersonate a style never felt that groundbreaking to me

like bitch i can too but i prefer my style anyway

so my writing stands out because it's an evolution of the influences ai is only trying to copy

What kind of stuff do you write? I’m also a writer, I write poetry. I’ve fed my poetry to AI tools to generate images based on it and it’s a cool way to get visuals but I don’t use it to write.

i also have an offline library of like ~2500 gifs, all manually categorized, which has been my "inline media of choice" and ai hasn't been able to offer a solid substitute for that style either but that might not be true much longer
