1️⃣ The Lockup Vault – A Bad Deal for DEGEN? The vault was designed to require users to hold DEGEN in order to receive daily tipping allowances. The idea was that this would reduce sell pressure and incentivize long-term commitment. But the numbers tell a different story: β€’ Right now, a 1.9M DEGEN deposit gives you a 10K DEGEN daily tip allowance β€’ If fully farmed over a year, this results in an APR of 184% 😳 β€’ That’s a massive ROI for a short lockup, creating huge inflation in the ecosystem This raises a key question: Are we getting enough back for giving out these rewards? Right now, it looks like the system is disproportionately benefiting farmers rather than long-term ecosystem participants.

IMO, I think you should stop the tipping idea and come up with a good way to incentivize the degen community. It's obvious that most of the community doesn't want to participate in DL3. I asked myself what was the essence of creating DL3 when most of the degen community didn't want to participate in the growth of the chain. So I will advise to mandate degen lock specifically on DL3, and there should be incentives on DL3 projects for those that lock up their degen. Let's stop this idea of tipping if that would eradicate farming once and for all.

If the majority of the community doesn't want to participate in the L3, the answer is not to mandate using the L3, the answer is to eliminate the L3.

Eliminating L3 is not the point at all. Take a very good look at the ham chain. Ham chain is doing very fine. Thanks to the ham pham that makes use of the chain every day. I believe DL3 can achieve even more than what ham chain has already achieved if used by the whole community every day. No eliminate is not the point at all.

we have a nft raffle running every 12 hours in DL3, almost free to join and you get 4.2 obg too It is a basic frame and contract, some stuff like that with user retention and some adoption could be a good push for DL3 usage.. meaning, reward users for using the DL3 with degen emissions could be something.. or just that a frame raffle of X degen daily, and with emission rewards for every participant it could evolve on something not only based in "gambling" and raffle, but any kind of funny game to fins the daily(weekly) winner(s), and have some people using the chain (alternative, look at aerodrome emissions for protocol voters)

What's OBG? i'm not dissing on raffles, but do they need to be on L3? I don't think Aerodrome is a relevant example though, they are providing financial infra, we need to look at what it is we want to provide as Degen.

obg is a token in DL3 for gaming rewards (under development) aerodrome emissions are relevant if we talk about degen emissions, (and DL3 is financial infra too), that said, aerodrome emit aero token to voters who staked aero in the vault, the same degen emit degen tokens to "voters" who locked degen in vault , we vote content, aero votes pools.. but the same mechanism i think is relevant study aerodrome, it is a succesful mechanism but the lock is 4 years xd this is the example I mentioned, simple frame, every 12 hours, all participants get emission of obg, they vote numbers here and one win an nft (the protocol in a basic version, ofc) https://warpcast.com/jvaleska.eth/0xd1eaa882

If Aero emits Aero to Aero stakers, those people are considered farmers in degen. I'm not saying I'm against that, it's a good idea and it would eliminate all the constant content-policing if vaulting = emissions. The farming all happens because in degen, the staking rewards have to be tipped away.

applying the aero strategy would require a step between locking and selecting emission recipients aero voters choose the pools and get emissions but the free market choose the pools getting more fees and these ones could not be the ones you voted.. so, it is not just stake and farm.. adding something in the middle may not be possible in this case, tho just saying what I am observing in case it could help..
