I have seen some people use tires similar to sandbags to build up walls for earthen homes but I like your plan to get them to the right place. Tire walls sorta grosses me out.

Yeah, I don't like the idea of burying that much garbage 😅 For sure tire walls are popular up north here.

I want to start an entirely new type of society 😜 first step is to build a place to live for myself though. I have a focus on bioregionalism and SolarPunk, and so that's how I am approaching all my decisions out here. Its a community thing long term for sure. Starting from scratch means I/we can build holistically from the start. I am a certified permaculture designer and want to push it to the limits of what is possible. But yeah, it's just me basically, for now.
