I did not have a cell phone in HS. Or college. I somehow held off until 2007. I had a landline and when I was away from my house I used prepaid calling cards with pay phones. It was punk rock.

I had one that I lost but the digits were memorized and I kept recharging it. Somehow I kept that and about 40 of my friends numbers all in my head. All gone now of course!

Same! There were special phone cards and I used to collect them 🤩
