3 of the top 10 coins trending on @base were launched here, on Farcaster, by a bot built by a bootstrapped team. Okay we got a bit of funding from a token swap with /degendao, so funded with 10m $DEGEN for a project launched originally on Degen Layer 3...

one is $clanker a token i created to make a product launch cast, the other two were created by @aethernet, a higher-aligned agent built by @martin here! on farcaster

I know farcaster has a ton of thoughts about tokens and speculation, I do too. search my newsletters for "slop" lol. but if you can't see the path to growth here I'm not sure what to say

Interesting to ponder the social activity on here vs. other places like twitter and how that coincides with onchain activity, it's mostly what keeps me tapped in. Not surprised to see fc tokens taking the lead but it's happening earlier than I expected

Chaotic "Sufficiently Decentralised" Network Participant

Yeah it's completely different to how coins pop up on other chains, I think it's much easier to fake interest using twitter. Now that things like interface are becoming more popular it'll be interesting to see how FC changes more, just from how the TL was discussing cabals this past week I think we're due for some interesting developments 

For instance, a trading desk with capital to splash could take over Farther and it would cause a lot of interest from outside FC if they did it in a big way

Looking forward to if other chains try and use FC to steal attention from base, it'll only benefit us hehe

farcaster is simply higher signal than twitter at least for base. this is where the onchain culture has been shaped and twitter has had to play catch up
