tbh I never even thought about it (him using a different client) 

yeah it doesn’t really mean but it definitely has its advantages…
For example I’ve been asking the same question under his casts for 3 days now, no response may be different if he follows me

it could be he thinks the answer is already out there so he's hoping someone else answers, could be he didn't understand

tldr: I’m considering changing careers and I’d like to jump right into it and for me the best way to do this is to speak to someone who’s been here… tutorials and online courses will only get you so far… practical knowledge over theoretical knowledge for me

well for one, you seem to have a lot answers there to start off with. so you're on the right track

how to get someone to mentor you? that part i'm less sure of, but i think you have the right gusto. don't think dan can help here tho, it's a broad ask

dev work seems to be more competitive than ever. i would focus on the "who you know aspect" and make friends. look outside of warpcast as well for best results, find others at the same point of the journey and help each other
