Didn't milei slash everything *but* military and police spending? That's dismantling the government, not the state. The state is specifically the apparatus of violence monopolization which subsumes, but is distinct from, the government. Police and military spending no longer directly results in more jobs/income, and is increasingly correlated with poverty rates globally: https://www.sciencedirect.com/science/article/abs/pii/S0049089X1100233X

That's super interesting! Not only for the Argentinean case. As of Milei, he's definitely relying on a heavy police and military. Just gave millions of dollars to his brand new intelligence agency. But he does have an aggressive fiscal policy that contributes directly to the misery.
