After an incredible two months of serving FC ecosystem, we decide to sunset Nanograph API, effective November 22, 2024, next Friday
Final weekly data updates will be processed through November 19, next Tuesday. 

Built in just 2 weeks, Nanograph API achieved remarkable milestones: 
- 41,887 API requests
- 2,539 unique users
- Supported numerous ecosystem devs

However, after evaluation, we reached the conclusion that there is not a viable way to scale current API into a sustainable, scalable product at the moment. Rather than maintain status quo, we're stepping back to re imagine our impact.

We're immensely grateful to our partners, developers, and the entire Farcaster community for your trust and support in building this data infrastructure together.

While this chapter closes, our journey continues. The insights and relationships we've built will fuel our next venture. Stay connected – we're excited to share what's next.

I think ppl finally realize crypto mainly provide 10x better ux in finance use cases, not in other-so everything in crypto is downstream of finance/value internet

In all other use cases, blockchain is too slow and decentralization not as necessary as providing 10x better ux than incumbents, thus harder for user to adopt

Simply there is no reason for user to adopt crypto in non finance/value related use cases, the value proposition simply not powerful enough

Possible reasons:

1. Still early, conference industry is picking up

2. More geographically concentrated atm pretty much SF

3. More dev related less finance related so less money to be made by purely organizing conferences 

-imo lots crypto conferences are a show for retail traders to buy in or exchanges to get a feeling how popular projects are for listing
