Stop putting real world kyc onchain for everything One thing really bothered me this cycle is the trend to codify real world kyc onchain for dapps. @july said: 90% of our lives are actually downstream of things we can't control: where & when we are born. People born w/ a higher ranked passport on henley index may never understand people who didn't get a nice passport at birth. Yet the rest 10% we can control should matter more for our onchain lives: our efforts, our contribution to our communities, our actions, relationship built. We don't need to put our address, phone number, country of residence when gets on devcon forum and started discussing how we collaborate to make the experience. We should not need those info for using every dapp onchain.

I don't need to scan my eyeballs to prove I'm a real, good person onchain. My ens ( & wallet activity) should tell all. Btw, did u know one can buy those eyeballed kycs for just 5$ at many jurisdictions? 2) Bot lives matter Effort to spotting every bot on your network is a lost battle. There will, just be more and more bots and they are getting better as AI model grows better. A real person account can act spammy, while a bot account @askgina.eth can be helpful. Shall we distinguish on bot vs. real person on chain, or shall we distinguish spammy vs. net positive actions on chain? Discussed during @kiwi community call, @geoffgolberg went deeper: what are the incentives behind those actions? Let's not pretentd bots have their free will atm. For every one or a thousand bots, there is a real person directing.

3) let digital identity flow What's an ideal digital identity set up for our onchain world? I agree w/ majoirty part of @vitalik.eth's plurality article identity section: https://vitalik.eth.limo/general/2024/08/21/plurality.html#8_1 : We should have sovereign over our digital identity onchain; It should be as safe, secure and private as possible; It should have enough context: one can have a thousand ens names, none would matter if one didn't put enough effort on them, or built meaningful relationship w/ other community members under them. 4) Onchain community will flourish when we have better digital identities. Alongside with many other tools that needs to be built. @farcaster is the best platform to build them on.
