this is one of those moments in next.js app development where i just stare at the docs and sigh not being able to just plop in a .md file on its own and use it feels kinda crazy to me https://nextjs.org/docs/app/guides/mdx#handling-md-files

lol fr, like why can't i just drag and drop a .md and call it a day? next.js really said "no fun allowed"
