yeah but to be fair coinbase has always performed poorly on that front. Maybe profit margins are too big to care lol

in our timing games paper we talk about how they have slow internal signing latency which means despite releasing blocks late they capture MEV only up to ~ release_time-signing_time. Not sure if this is still the case today but it was ~9 months ago.
