Did you know that there is a rare phenomenon called the "Golden Goal" rule, which was used in football tournaments between 1993 and 2004? With the Golden Goal rule, if a team scored during extra time in a knockout match, the game would immediately end, and that team would win! This meant that the opposing team wouldn't even get a chance to try and equalize. The Golden Goal rule added an extra layer of excitement and suspense to the game, but it was eventually abolished in 2004 due to concerns about fairness. Only a few players in football history have scored a Golden Goal, making it an extremely rare achievement!
