this is my favorite met look hands down

very on the “black dandyism” theme highlighting black men’s contributions to culture.

i see this look as a statement of how black artists have carried music trends “on their back” for so long without receiving a fair return.

i love how the grand piano is paired with a working class jumpsuit, work boots, and a trash bag holding his belongings, representing the way artists are worked to the bone and still don’t have much to show for it.
