Would love to hear which compromises, in your opinion, are unprincipled? Decentralization is a spectrum, most projects in crypto are only decentralized via their marketing — their tech says otherwise. There are parts of our stack which are “decentralized” which we could market as such, but choose not to as we want to build compelling experiences that every internet user can use and that to be the focus. We want more people onchain, it’s not going to happen by continuing to build for the existing subset of users. You have to build experiences that every internet user can use. Hope to have you on the side of building products for everyone 👌

Ethereum only grows from here from apps that expand the market. Crypto has been fighting over the same users for years because the UX wasn't good enough to bring in new ones. Now, you can build an app that any internet user can use, but it's all onchain. The future is here, just not evenly distributed. eth.cash

Alas, in the 2+ years since, the vast majority in crypto have pivoted sharply towards full on greed, degeneracy, nihilism, and crime. Of course, there's a small minority that continues working on useful sustainability, and I have the utmost respect for them, but that keeps getting smaller by the day.
