Fellow homies from Argentina! I need your help! 🇦🇷 Your beautiful country is on my list to possibly relocate there and i wanted to know, first of all, how actually safe the environment in Buenos Aires is? I read a lot about the crime situation there, how bad is it?? Economy is weak but does it feel ok if earning in dollars? How much you need monthly to cover your life with rent included? Your country is so attractive because of the nature, the people and the whole beautiful vibe while also its pretty welcoming for immigrants, id love to know some goods and bads of this place from native ones 🫶 Gracias a todos!

hii! speaking from Argentina as well, i lived in Buenos Aires all my life, and as everybody here says.. it really really depends on the neighborhood. We could definitely avice you about what neigborhoods are safer or quieter depending on your lifestyle and what your priorities are (night life? museums, social activities, landscapes, peace and quiet, etc..?)

Insecurity is similar everywhere here, you just have to stay alert and avoid certain things and you'll probably be fine. Economy is unstable and always changing, for worse :D And food and general shopping items are expensive right now compared to other countries. I'd love to give you a different answer but that's the honest truth... prices go up with no way to anticipate it and the dollar value is always changing, so, each month is a new adventure of finding out if you have enough or not to make it. hahaha! 😂 We do love it here, though, that's the truth. People are funny, kind, very welcoming and warm, and always willing to help. 💜

i'm living in Rosario now, another big city, because i moved with my boyfriend @demomalakai 💜 , but Buenos Aires is definitely where my heart is. I grew up and lived all my life in a town called Martinez, that, as you mentioned, fits good with the lifestyle you're looking for... it's super quiet, lots of green, parks, and it's near the "Rio de la Plata" river so there's also a nice view ie you live close enough to the water, and it's not too far away from Capital Federal, the busiest part of BSAS, you are just one bus or train away from the chaos of the city (20-30min). 1. is Capital Federal 35/40. is where i'm from.

There are lots of hoods with those characteristics, too! But i would suggest somewhere in the yellow neighborhoods (or the white part next to the yellow part as well), those tend to be quieter than the center of the city, but close enough to be near activities like live shows, etc.
