In the latest OP Retro Round, most "onchain builders / applications" won't qualify because we haven't technically deployed any contracts. 

Using third-party SDKs or mint protocols like Zora also won't qualify.

While sucks, it's a valuable lesson: make sure to deploy your OWN work onchain.

this feels like the wrong lesson - using any of these minting protocols like zora manifold highlight are still "deploying your OWN work". instead imo it's something to tackle at the grant funding layer to support these folks better

I also agree with you (this is optimal). My bet is that most on-chain programs will likely adopt the OP model, as they are setting a standard here, whether we like it or not.
