Started reading The Creative Act and love it so far. It's a perfect complement to The War Of Art, which frames creativity as a daily battle to prepare for. Develop grit, sharpen your blade, etc. Whereas Rubin approaches from the transcendental, spiritual angle.

Loved Rubin‘s linen-like bound brick of a book! Surrendering and allowing inspiration to come naturally can be so freeing, yet challenging at the same time!
