I don’t think politics on Warpcast is a smart idea. If you want people to unfollow you, go for it. 

If you only want friends that agree with your beliefs, go find your aunt and uncle on Facebook. 

Personally I love the diverse group of people on here and I’d hate to lose some if you as friends but I’ve already started unfollowing some people. Just my opinion.

I think listening to and trying to understand people we disagree with to find some common ground is about the only hope we have left. So much divisiveness these days. I think there are definitely better places for those discussions than Warpcast though and definitely agree with you.

Religion and politics are definitely two things I tend to avoid speaking on in a text based conversation. Too easy for things to be taken incorrectly imo. Important things to discuss for sure but just not in this sort of format.

I agree. I think there’s definitely a time and place for genuine, thoughtful discussion but I don’t think this is that place. That’s just my opinion though.
