Funny enough, there are plenty of birds around this area but I can never seem to capture a good photo of them here - they’re always on the move and too fast for me. 😂

This is the thing with birds isn’t it? Also they are up in trees etc so getting a good bird picture is an under appreciated art form imo! 😄

This brings me to a question. What’s your favorite bird?

The loon is the one that dives deep in the water also right? They disappear for a minute or so and then pop back up sometimes with a fish? I love those too! 

Mine is actually a raven/crow. I’ve always had a sort of weird connection with them and they are so intelligent it’s actually kind of crazy! They vocalize like nothing else as well.

haha agreed! Under appreciated for sure. My iPhone doesn’t quite have the range that I’d like, but we do what we can. 

Bald Eagles are up near the top of the list because they’re so big and majestic and it’s wild to watch them grab fish out of the water with ease, but the Common Loon might be my favorite. 

They look wild, and their eerie/peaceful calls at dusk feel other-worldly.
